Spiire’s Visual Media team were engaged by Austin Land to develop a significant package of works which included a series of 3D renders, animations and the development of interactive touchscreen display in order to facilitate and enhance the sales process. Austin Lara is a vibrant new community in Geelong’s northern growth corridor which combines natural features such as open parkland and waterways, with access to a wide range of amenities.
We worked closely our client and the experienced sales agents to understand their processes to allow us to develop a bespoke tool for us within the sales process.
The interactive touchscreen developed provides rich visual content of the development as a whole and allows the viewer to interact with the 3D masterplan inclusive of landscape features, roads, paths, housing, playgrounds and waterways through a touchscreen display. The application is designed in such a way that allows them to easily drill down into the information they are looking for whilst providing them with a larger than life experience of all of the development’s natural, present and designed future features. Interconnected, when customers show interest in certain features, the sales agent is able to transfer the relevant visual representations and information to the three metre wide video wall to provide better engagement for potential customers. The email integration feature also enables lot information and engineering plans of the customer’s selected lot/s to be emailed to them instantly from the touchscreen.
An information content management system was also built into the table which allows the client to update information, such as lot availability, in an efficient manner. This feature allows sales agents to provide real-time information to potential customers, streamlining the sales process.
In addition to the interactive table and interconnected video wall, the team also provided a series of still 3D renders and aerial photomontages for print material, website and social media. The 3D renders capture the future streetscapes, parklands, public facilities, waterways, and neighbourhoods with photorealistic detail and provide the life and the sense of atmosphere of the future thriving development. Aerial photomontages which include rendered design elements provide context of urban development areas such as the proximity to Geelong, Corio Bay and other amenities and geographical features.
A 30 second animation was also developed which provides an aerial overview of the project and tells a visually appealing story of the development, it’s features and how they interconnect. The animation is featured in the sales office on the video wall as well as on the development’s website, and social media.
