A Chartered civil engineer in both Victoria and Queensland, Matthew is a highly experienced Project Manager of land development and infrastructure projects, working closely with clients from acquisition and due diligence through to design and delivery.
With a foundation in civil design, a Masters in Project Management from the University of Melbourne and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external project stakeholders, Matthew combines his technical expertise with creative problem solving, risk management and change management to deliver pragmatic solutions and exceptional outcomes for his clients.
Matthew is connected to the urban development industry through strong affiliations with the Urban Development Industry of Australia (UDIA), Engineers Australia and the Association of Land Development Engineers (ALDE). This connection provides Matthew with insights into urban development conditions, future trends and new opportunities.
Within his nine years at Spiire, Matthew has received strong mentorship and guidance from respected industry leaders including Mark Breuer, Morne Henderson and John Prentice. This experience has led Matthew to confidently manage and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes for key projects such as Wel.Co’s Thornhill Park and Key West, Frasers’ Mambourin Estate and Urban Base’s Trijena.
