The Grange Estate is a 76 lot, mixed-use urban development in the Thurgoona-Wirlinga growth area in Albury.
The site is located near to existing schools and the Hume Freeway, providing quick and easy access to the Albury and Wodonga CBDs.
The land was purchased in July 2015 and we were engaged as lead development consultants soon after.
We worked together to review, amend and significantly improve the previously approved subdivision layout to be more in line with Albury City’s original vision for this land.
Once the new approval was obtained, we prepared the site for the first stage of the residential development, which included a new Child Care Centre.
A prolonged period of wet weather created some site challenges.
We approached the project using Spiire’s unique integrated services approach, which combined civil engineering, surveying and landscape architecture. Using this approach, the complex issues associated with this development were easily identified and resolved.
The construction of the first stage was completed in 2016 with a significant number of buyers having already secured their preferred housing lot.
