Gerard brings extensive experience as a land surveyor to our Warragul office, boosting our local survey capabilities for projects throughout Gippsland and south-east Melbourne.

With a track record spanning more than 30 years, Gerard is a Licensed Surveyor with strong experience providing land survey services in the greenfield, rural and residential sectors.

His core expertise is providing cadastral and engineering surveys, Crown surveys on behalf of Surveyor-General Victoria, under the banner of Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), and application surveys in support of the Transfer of Land Act 1958.

This includes both urban and rural re-establishment surveys, surveys to accompany small and large subdivisions, and multi-lot building subdivisions including owners corporations and restrictions.

Working locally in Gippsland since entering the profession as a Graduate, Gerard has contributed to a broad portfolio of projects throughout the region. In this time, he has developed a sound understanding of the local land development market and worked closely with key statutory authorities.

Gerard has been involved in providing land survey services for several exciting and challenging projects, enabling him to develop solutions to a diverse range of complex problems and ensure efficient delivery of high-quality outcomes.

In his work as a project manager, he places a high priority on developing relationships with his clients to understand and meet their needs.

His role as a Licensed surveyor in our Warragul office sees him working on land development projects throughout the surrounding region and nearby areas in south-east Melbourne, including the Wedge Rd development in Skye, a residential subdivision in Drouin and a brownfield project in Hampton Park.

Since joining Spiire, he has enjoyed the opportunity to collaborate with our in-house disciplines and work alongside civil engineers, construction consultancy specialists and town planners as an integrated team.

He is a longstanding member and actively contributes to the Institute of Surveyors Victoria, having played various roles in its Gippsland Group, including currently acting as Vice Chairman.
