Brent has over 20 years’ experience in the surveying industry and is a passionate surveying professional. As a Licensed Surveyor in Victoria since 2002, he has extensive experience across market sectors with particular focus on cadastral surveying and large-scale land development projects including broad acre and high-rise subdivision which may involve complex staging and Owners Corporations.

Brent has a deep understanding of how spatial data sets can be collected and communicated and how they can add value to projects, with a particular focus on the development of skills and systems to support new technology in the Geospatial profession.

As a member of The Institution of Surveyors Victoria (ISV), and affiliation with Association of Consulting Surveyors through Spiire’s corporate membership, Brent is strongly connected with the industry. This connection provides him with insight into current legislation and changes which may impact industry, in addition to urban development conditions, future trends and new opportunities.

Brent is an active supervising surveyor mentoring younger professionals in achieving their registration as a licenced surveyor with the Surveyors Registration Board of Victoria and also acts as an examiner of projects in this process.  Brent has also been heavily involved in the development and implementation of business-wide structured learning programs for Professional Training Agreement (PTA) candidates.  Brent is a certified Mental Health First Aider which allows him to provide well rounded support to those he mentors.
