Why Join Our Canberra Team?

We’re searching for new team members to join our thriving Canberra office as it continues its rapid growth.

Since launching in 2018, Spiire Canberra has carved out a strong pipeline of work and built a passionate local team of civil engineering, construction management and landscape architecture consultants.

It’s one of eight offices in the Spiire network, which spans Victoria, NSW and the ACT. With more than 300 staff working across eight integrated disciplines, we are one of the region’s largest employee-owned property and infrastructure consultants and offer exceptional opportunities for career progression.

Our Projects

We work together as a multidisciplinary team that delivers exceptional holistic solutions for a broad range of projects across the ACT and regional NSW. Our consultants contribute across the life cycle of a development, from the initial planning stage through to managing construction.

The team has the opportunity to work on high-profile projects such as the Edinburgh Avenue Extension in the heart of Canberra Civic, and the establishment of Queanbeyan’s new Botanic Gardens.

Our Culture

We believe our culture is our difference. We recognise and reward the contributions of our people and provide real pathways for career progression.

Senior Associate Jonathon Boyd was part of the original team that launched the Canberra office, joining the business after a diverse career spanning construction, landscape design and engineering consulting.

“Spiire’s values just aligned with what I’d been looking for over many years,” he says. “It was refreshing to see the trust that was there from day one.”

From the start, Jonathon found the support from the wider Spiire business allowed him to focus on his clients and delivering local projects.

“The roadblocks are just not there, so you can run with what makes you enjoy your job,” he says.

Senior Professional Chelsea Corcoran was attracted to Spiire’s reputation for valuing its people. Her experiences since joining the team have reinforced this sense of community – despite her first day coinciding with Australia’s first nationwide COVID-19 lockdown.

“People are really recognised and celebrated at Spiire,” she says. “If I have a passion for something, I’ve been nurtured to do it. There’s a real drive for it to be successful.”

“Culture comes down to being able to trust people. If you’ve got a really good rapport that’s built on trust, everyone will enjoy working together.”
