Heath has an extensive 30 years’ experience in the landscape architecture and landscape construction industry. Heath has applied his unique design and construction skill set in both the public and private sectors. This skill set has also been honed with 15 years design and construction business management experience.
Heath’s current focus in the landscape industry is to take responsibility for the relationship between design and construction. This comes from an understanding of good design principles, construction documentation, tender processes, stakeholder consultation, construction methodologies and contract management. Heath relies on complex problem-solving skills to negotiate the relationship between design and construction.
Heath is passionate about the Australian native landscape and extends this with an interest in the notion of “Habitation”. He believes successful landscape outcomes consider the habitation of people, geology, hydrology, ecology and infrastructure.
