Since becoming a Gold Partner of the Property Industry Foundation (PIF) in 2026, Spiire people have had the opportunity to contribute to a range of initiatives that bring together professionals from across the property and construction industry.

Through volunteering, fundraising and the contribution of professional expertise, our teams have supported projects and programs that create meaningful outcomes beyond the built environment.

Supporting Haven House Heathmont

One of the most rewarding opportunities to emerge through our partnership has been our involvement in the Haven House Heathmont project, delivered through a partnership between PIF and the Lighthouse Foundation.

As part of the refurbishment of the property, Spiire’s Landscape Architecture and Construction Consultancy teams provided pro-bono landscape design and advisory services to help enhance the home’s outdoor spaces. Ahead of the official opening, members of our Melbourne team also used their volunteer leave to participate in a planting working bee, helping bring the landscape vision to life.

The project showcased the value of industry collaboration, with consultants, contractors and suppliers contributing their time, expertise and resources to create a welcoming environment for future residents.

Getting behind industry fundraising initiatives

Our people have also embraced opportunities to support the Foundation’s fundraising initiatives across Victoria and Queensland throughout the year.

From participating in events such as Steps for Homeless Youth, Toiletries Wrap Day to attending industry fundraising activities, Spiire team members have joined colleagues, clients and industry partners in supporting the Foundation’s work. These events provide a valuable opportunity to strengthen industry connections while contributing to a collective effort that extends beyond our day-to-day project work.

Contributing through industry leadership

Partnerships such as this are driven by people, and we are proud to see members of our team becoming actively involved in the Foundation’s initiatives.

Senior Professional Urban Designer, Emily Vongsaraphanh, currently serves on the Foundation’s Young Leaders Committee, a group of emerging professionals who work together to support fundraising, increase awareness and encourage engagement across the property industry.

Emily’s involvement reflects the enthusiasm of many of our emerging professionals to contribute beyond their immediate project responsibilities and participate in initiatives that strengthen connections across the industry.

Looking ahead

While our partnership with the PIF is still relatively new, it has already created opportunities for our people to connect, collaborate and contribute alongside others across the property and construction sector.

Whether through project involvement, fundraising initiatives or industry leadership programs, we look forward to continuing to support the Foundation and the important role it plays in bringing our industry together.
