At Spiire, a Practice Area has been defined as a group of people whom share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly.
Spiire’s Practice Areas are distinctly different from their Business Units, which are more task and client focused.
Within Spiire, Practice Areas are established to support the relevant service offerings (or disciplines). There are currently Practice Areas for Civil Engineering, Integrated Water, Landscape Architecture, Planning & Urban Design and Surveying.
Each Practice Area Leader is responsible for their disciplines Knowledge and Training, Technical and Quality and Industry Representation throughout all offices.
Our Business Unit Managers are responsible for ensuring that we deliver projects for our clients. They are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business.
Our Business Unit Managers work closely with the wider Leadership Team to ensure consistency throughout the business.
Our Business Services Leads look after the day-to-day administration side of Spiire including:
- General Administration
- People and Culture
Our Business Services team look after all offices and personnel.
The Spiire business operates with three levels of governance. All members of the Leadership Team come from within the business.
Our Leadership Team come together three times a year.
