Developing our future
Spiire’s annual tailor-made leadership program, ‘Inspiiring the Leaders’ kicked off again this week with 16 participants from four disciplines across the business in attendance.
In its third year, the annual two-day, interactive program covered a variety of leadership topics that aim to develop the next generation of Spiire leaders.
We know that our business’ continued success relies on having the best people. We develop our staff to be great technical experts, consultants, and leaders through our tailored professional development programs. These include our Graduate Program and Inspiiring the Leaders as well as senior leadership development initiatives, technical and consulting training. Spiire is one of the only consultants offering development programs of this kind, and this is something we intend to continue to build on.
As part of developing our staff, we also run an annual offsite event for each discipline. These events aim to keep employees inspired about the future of their industry whist stimulating team connectedness. Our most recent offsite was for our Civil Engineering team.
With over 80 attendees from across the business, this year’s Engineering Forum was one of our biggest and most successful yet. This year’s theme, ‘Big Picture Thinking’ saw the group undertake sessions on self-discovery and collaborative thinking. A workshop also saw the team work together to create an engineering themed mural.
